Lift Up God’s Words

Lift Up the Words of God

I want to lift up God’s kingdom and God’s words: JUSTICE and LOVE for all people. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not overtake it.” (John 1:1-5) ❤️💜

Because He Lives

Overjoyed He Lives!

Overjoyed that Jesus lives!! He lives, and his teachings about love, justice, peace, and life in God’s mighty kingdom also live and will never die. This is The Way he walked in and showed us to defeat hate, racism, violence, senseless death… The way of the Lord is one of abundant, purposeful life! Let his kingdom come and his will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!! ❤️💜

Lamentations

A couple pics of lamentations… Justice lamentations require crying out about the history of the “injustice, cruelty, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery in the United States… and the impact of the institution on living African-Americans.” It means exposing “other forms of discrimination in the public and private sectors against African slaves and their descendants” from 1619 to the present, “including redlining, educational funding discrepancies, and predatory financial practices.” (H.R. 40) Among many other abominations…

Lamentations are holy words, sorely needed, and must be HEARD!! Lamentations are always truth-telling. And after lamentations are not only made but heard, acknowledged, and apologized for, then we can go forward with the persons harmed and try to repair, redress, and make right the many, many grievous wrongs done to them and over the past 400 years. Lord God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, PLEASE give us strength, courage, and your guidance every day and every step of the way ❤️💜

What’s Happening?

Ask “What’s Happening?”

Sometimes we need to look around and ask ourselves, “What’s happening?” Particularly in the area of racial justice. The H.R. 40 Bill before Congress in this legislative session notes that “as a result of the historic and continued discrimination, African-Americans continue to suffer debilitating economic, educational, and health hardships including but not limited to having nearly 1 million black people incarcerated; an unemployment rate more than twice the current white unemployment rate; and an average of less than 1/16 of the wealth of white families—a disparity which has worsened not improved over time.” Don’t we need to ask ourselves as the bill does, “What are we going to do about this?” ❤️💜

Give Me Strength and Boldness

Remember the Lord and All He Taught Us

This pic reflects my trying to always remember and follow Jesus’ teachings… He never failed to let people know that God’s kingdom is a place of justice, love, peace, and respect, on earth as well as in heaven.

Washing Feet and Doing God’s Will

Here Jesus washes the feet of a follower. Everything he taught about God’s kingdom he put into practice every day. Over and over sowing love and revealing God’s way… Lord, PLEASE give me strength and boldness to follow in his footsteps… ❤️💜
