God Made People Equal

“When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the workers and give them their pay, beginning with the last and then going to the first.’  When those hired about 5:00 came, they each received the agreed-upon day’s pay. Now when the first group came, they thought they would receive more; but each of them also received the same amount. And when they received it, they complained to the landowner: ‘These last people worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who worked the whole day in the scorching heat.’”

“But the landowner replied, ‘Friends, I’m doing you no wrong; Didn’t you agree with me on your day’s pay? Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last group the same as I give to you. Can’t I do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or are you upset because I am generous?’” GOD PROVIDES FOR ALL AND SAYS, I WILL MAKE PEOPLE EQUAL IF I WANT TO—I WANTED TO, AND I STILL WANT TO!

A Resurrection Teaching

One day Jesus taught about resurrection and said that in the resurrection people don’t marry, bear children, work at jobs, buy and sell etc., but actually are like angels of God, helping and guiding us, pointing the way for us to live lives pleasing to God and God’s beloved kingdom. In the resurrection, people will continue to follow Jesus’s path of worshipping and serving God and loving and serving our fellow humans. And “God isn’t God of the dead but of the living,” he said.
