The Good-Shepherd Life

Rejoice with me that Jesus Is a good shepherd!! He goes after every sheep that is lost or wandering around, straying off by itself. He offers us love, care, and community. I know that’s what I want for myself!! And I want to offer this whole life to every person, hurting or in need, who wants more love, justice, and community in their life. Jesus Had Compassion

To follow in the way of Jesus, we need to have compassion–whatever we’re feeling or going through personally. When Jesus heard about John’s death, he withdrew in a boat to a deserted place to be by himself. But crowds followed him on foot from the nearby towns. When he went ashore, he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion for them and cured all their sicknesses. (Matthew 14: 13-14)

True Family

Once someone came and told Jesus, “Hey, your mother and your brothers are standing over there wanting to speak to you.” But Jesus replied, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” And pointing to his disciples and the rest of his followers, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Lord, let me always be one of your family! Help me try to always do the will of God our Father and work with him to build up the divine kingdom of justice here on Earth. Love and blessings to all!! XOXO
