This a new work that is now a work in process— because I’ve decided to add lots more color to it, as I sometimes do but haven’t done real recently. I was inspired by a trip to lovely Charlotte NC, where I saw beautiful, very colorful works by Khalif Tahir Thompson at the Gantt Center for African American Arts + Culture, and also especially by Summer Wheat at the Mint Museum.
