Feed My People

When Jesus appeared after his resurrection and served his disciples breakfast on the beach, he spoke with Peter at length and asked him three times in succession, Do you love me? Each time Peter answered, Yes, Lord I love you; you know I love you; of course I love you, etc. In response, every time, Jesus replied, Then feed my lambs, tend my sheep, feed my sheep. Which means, of course, feed my people. And feed them, nourish them, in every way you can: with physical, spiritual, emotional, healing, financially sound, nutritional, soulful, loving, peaceful, righteous/just, etc., and POWERFUL food.

This conversation is one of Jesus’s most important teachings: if we love him, we need to feed people in every way we can, in every way they have need. If we are feeding people in every way they need to be nourished, that is how we love and follow Jesus. ❀️ πŸ’œ
