Come and Have Breakfast

When we’re in need—hungry, thirsty, sick, grieving, lost, tired, troubled, confused, or any kind of pain at all—Jesus can come and help us at our point of need. He brings answers, healings, solutions, and comfort; he wants to solve problems and restore our health and strength. We just need to ask, invite him to come…

This story from Scripture demonstrates his love and concern for those who want to walk with him: One day after Jesus had risen from the tomb and appeared to his disciples, he came to them fishing and said, “Children, you have no fish, do you?” They answered, “No.” “Cast the net to the right side of the boat, and you will find some,” he said. So they cast their nets, and then they weren’t able to haul them in because there were so many fish … When they had gone ashore, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish on it, and bread. Jesus said, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” So Peter went and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them, and though there were so many, the net was not torn. Then Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast with me.” (John 21:5-12)
